IIT-Madras’s geo-tubes to check coastal erosion in Andhra Pradesh

The department of Ocean Engineering, IIT-Madras, will soon switch to geo-tubes and geo-bags, geo-synthetic products made of fibre used to protect the coast from sea-erosion.
